Question........

Im a stock market junky........Ive been so as long as I can remember.  I can talk stocks and the market all day long (much to the chagrin of my friends and family).  This market has been pretty extraordinary and I think even the average non-junky has noticed.
So I have a question............how has all of this financial/market crisis effected you personally?

My mutual funds took a hit and I'm watching my finances much more closely.

I am so far safe as a speech therapist, but I overheard a boss saying that she may have to revoke some recent raises due to the crisis.
The powers that be that approve services will probably make getting and keeping services (ot, pt, sp) more difficult.
the gas prices falling is good b/c at this point that was a big financial burden. I did not look at how my retirement fund is doing (there's only a few pennies in there anyway and it's a long term investment) So far we are just keeping an eye on the market and looking for significant changes.

Just think of how our wonderful institutions could benefit the family unit, which is after all the corner stone of the Jewish community if they gave us a Tuition free year to "cope with the current financial crisis". Can the menahails give up the Lexus and down grade to a Chevy for us-Not!

@LFD
Yea, and all those teachers getting rich off their high salaries, benefits, and perks! They should all take a 50% pay cut.
