For PLD, did you adjust your target percentage wise in line with your other trades? For example, if your target is 0.20 for a $20 stock, will your target for a $40 stock be 0.40?
Dm - no - which is why I try to keep what I trade within a certain price range, so I can get similar %, but it doesnt always happen that way. Generally I use an actual dollar amount per trade as opposed to a percentage amt. Don't know if makes sense or not, but it workd for me.
OK, so let me check my math...
Buy 1,000 PLD @ 58.99 = 58,990.00
Sell @ 59.19 = 59,190.00
Gross profit = 1000*.2 = 200.00
Minus commission $10 x2 = 180.00
Minus margin $7 x2 = 166.00
If you had put up 50% that would mean you made $166 on ~ $29,500.00 or 0.5%.
Multiply by 20 trading days gives 10% a month.

M - yup.....I try to grab $100-$150 per trade, and try to do 2 swing trades and 2 daytrades per day. So if everything is going my way, then it works out. Ultimately though, I'd like to shoot for 10% per week. For me that means a bit more patience - which is the part that I find to be very difficult.
If you can do 10% a week, there are a lot of people on Wall Street that would love to meet you! LOL
