Here are the rules. Each player lists 13 facts/habits about themselves.
The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
This is hard to do – I don’t want to appear too psychotic!
Here goes...
1. I hate to eat in front of people.When I am at a Shabbos table with others, I basically nibble on Challah, but do not partake of all the yummy food with gusto, as I would do were I alone.
2. Some mornings I give my son pizza bagels for breakfast! He’s a picky eater, but I figure its less sugar than most cereals plus veggies! (Well – tomato sauce!!) I also figure that he Is the reason I wake up in the morning, so it’s the least I can do!
3. I’m a vegetarian. My whole family is and I grew up that way (strange for a frum family – I know) Even stranger was that my father owned the only kosher butcher store in the town where I grew up – yes – you read that correctly, a frum, vegetarian butcher. But I’m in no way a crazy tofu eating liberal – so enjoy your cows all ye carnivores!
4. I love to read. Books give me a wonderful escape from the real world. My reading habits vary, as I can read all sorts of literature from a classic play to a trashy magazine. I also MUST finish a book in one sitting.
5. I do not have a lot of real friends, rather I have a lot of acquaintances. The friends I do have though, are very close and dear to me and I would do literally anything for them!
6. I am a procrastinator. All of my friends know what “Sara-time” is and adjust accordingly! I push off doing stuff I need to do, or I have others do them for me! Perhaps I am just lazy sometimes, who knows? No – I know – I’m lazy!
7. My taste in men (and women) is unique. I often find people who others think are ugly to be attractive and cute, depending upon their personality and attitude. To me personality is more important than looks. I’m a total sucker for musicians as well! There’s a reason why funny looking musicians get hot girls!!!
8. I do not drink coffee. I do enjoy a good tea though.
9. I am not a girlie girl nor am I a tomboy. I don't wear makeup or a lot of jewelry. My favorite color isn't pink, and I am a good driver. I also don’t get manicures or pedicures – I can’t stand strangers touching me in any way!
10. I have hard to manage, curly hair. When I was a kid, the ONLY reason I wanted to get married was so that I could wear a sheitel and not have to deal with it. I still feel its pretty much the only reason!
11. I have the highly developed sense of humor of a 12 year old boy. I thought Jackass was a classic! Ok – maybe not a classic, but definitely in my top 5 favorite movies!
12. I have been in love with 3 people in my life….and in hate with one!
13. I consider myself a very lucky person! Sure I've been though a lot of crap in my life - who hasn't? But I thank Hashem everyday that I have an awesome son, a wonderful SO, and terrific friends! I really couldn't ask for much more.
